Plot: Meet Roy and Frank, a couple of professional small-time con artists. What Roy, a veteran of the grift, and Frank, his ambitious protege, are swindling these days are “water filtration systems,” bargain-basement water filters bought by unsuspecting people who pay ten times their value in order to win bogus prizes like cars, jewelry and overseas vacations—which they never collect. These scams net the flim-flam men a few hundred here, another thousand there, which eventually adds up to a lucrative partnership. Roy’s private life, however, is not so successful. An obsessive-compulsive agoraphobe with no personal relationships to call his own, Roy is barely hanging on to his wits, and when his idiosyncrasies begin to threaten his criminal productivity he’s forced to seek the help of a psychoanalyst just to keep him in working order. While Roy is looking for a quick fix, his therapy begets more than he bargained for: the revelation that he has a teenage daughter—a child whose existence he suspected but never dared confirm. What’s more troubling, 14-year-old Angela wants to meet the father she never knew. At first, Angela’s appearance disrupts her neurotic father’s carefully ordered routine. Soon, however, with his own unique spin on parenthood, Roy begins to enjoy a relationship he never dreamed of having with his daughter. But while he develops paternal feelings for the 14-year-old, she’s developing a fascination with Daddy’s questionable career.

Plot: STEFFEN VOGT, aged around 25, is helping out at a German archeological excavation in Israel when he finds a 2,000-year-old skeleton holding the instructions for a video camera dating from the year 2003. The bones also show traces of the present day. His theory of a time-traveler who made a video of Jesus is laughed at by everyone, however, including SHARON, an attractive Israeli woman he adores. Although no one appears to believe him, his find certainly seems to have generated interest: Steffen is attacked shortly afterwards in his hotel room by strange men; then he discovers that the German embassy and the secret service are after him; and when his friend DAN is murdered, he goes into hiding. His only true ally is Sharon. Steffen’s theory seems to be correct: financier and time-travel expert KAUN turns up at the excavations in person and carries out several elaborate subterranean measurements at the Wailing Wall # where he believes the camera has been hidden. He is assisted by the head of the excavation, Professor WILFORT. Steffen suspects that Kaun is one of the people hunting for him and remains in hiding. Assisted by Sharon and her jealous boyfriend YEHOSHUA, he manages to steal a letter from the time traveler that contains coded instructions on how to find the video. Before the three of them can set off again in search of the video, Steffen is abducted and tortured. His tormentors # who later turn out to be members of a secret Vatican order led by the unscrupulous SCARFARO # try to blackmail the whereabouts of the Jesus video out of him and then destroy the tape before it gets shown to the public. Steffen manages to escape from them. With Sharon at his side and the murderous churchmen at his heels, he starts a frantic, action-packed hunt for the video. Eventually Steffen and Sharon find what they are looking for, inside an old monastery. Scarfaro has tracked them down, however, and the video falls into his hands. In front of everyone’s astonished gaze he then plays the film # and Steffen suddenly realizes that the biggest adventure of his life has only just begun….

The Old House

"I dare you, go inside!", Ben shouted, " I bet you wouldn’t last one minute in that relic pile of junk"! "Just watch me", Jill replied. Jill and her brother always fought, but never about somthing as spooky as the "hauted house", as they called it. The old, abandoned house flourished with mould and moss and was left alone for a very long time. "I’ll be waiting right here Jill. bring me back someting from inside the haunted house for me. It will prove that you went in"! Determined and never giving up on a dare, Jill looked up at her brother, "okay. give me a few minutes". She walked up the ancient driveway, out of her brothers sight. once she arrived at the door step, she was a bit scared and lonley. She peeked through the aperture in the door handle before entering, just to make shore everything seemed safe. Ben had always told her the sprit of a ghostly bard roamed the house and still wrote evil poems, curses and spells. He told her that people who spent to much time in the hauted house, would fall victim of his maledictions. "I’ll be quick", jill uttered under her breath. She opened the door and to her vicissitude, spotted somthing she could return to her brother. She grabbed a shiny locket she had found on the floor. Freaked out, Jill exited as fast as she could. Once she got to the bottom of the driveway, she saw that her brother had been waiting for her, with no sign of solicitude. "Wow Jill, I can’t belive you went in!" Ben was marvled. "what did you get"? Jill presented him the locket and together, they opened it and read the etched message: " The one to commit any form of depredation upon this locket shall recive bad luck". "That’s an odd thing to incribe", Jill said "i think i’ll return it in that case…wait here and i’ll throw it back in the haunted house. I dont want to upset the evil bard’s sprit". So Jill, a bit more at ease now, turned around and headed back up the driveway. Her brother said goodbye to her for the last time…she was never seen again after that.

When the rebel Jack Merridew neglects the fire camp and they lose the chance to be seen by a helicopter, the group split under the leadership of Jack. While Ralph rationalizes the procedures, Jack returns to the primitivism, using the fear for the unknown (in a metaphor to the religion) to control the other boys, and hunting and chasing pigs, stealing the possession of Ralph’s group and even killing people.

Do you remember the scene? The Senate. Barbara Boxer hearing from a Brigadier General? Silly General! He addresses Barbara as "Ma’am", and she CORRECTS him, telling him she’s "worked SO hard to earn the title, "Senator", so please use that when speaking to her.

Read the letter sent to Sen. Barbara Boxer from an Alaskan Airlines pilot below. Many of us witnessed the arrogance of Barbara Boxer on June 18, 2009 as she admonished Brigadier General Michael Walsh because he addressed her as "ma’am" and not "Senator" before a Senate hearing.

This letter is from a National Guard aviator and Captain for Alaska Airlines named Jim Hill. I wonder what he would have said if he were really angry. Long fly Alaska !!!!!

You were so right on when you scolded the general on TV for using the term, "ma’am," instead of "Senator". After all, in the military, "ma’am" is a term of respect when addressing a female of superior rank or position. The general was totally wrong. You are not a person of superior rank or position. You are a member of one of the world’s most corrupt organizations, the U.S. Senate, equaled only by the U.S. House of Representatives.

Congress is a cesspool of liars, thieves, inside traders, traitors, drunks (one who killed a staffer, yet is still revered), criminals, and other low level swine who, as individuals (not all, but many), will do anything to enhance their lives, fortunes and power, all at the expense of the People of the United States and its Constitution, in order to be continually re-elected. Many democrats even want American troops killed by releasing photographs. How many of you could honestly say, "We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor"? None? One? Two?

Your reaction to the general shows several things. First is your abysmal ignorance of all things military. Your treatment of the general shows you to be an elitist of the worst kind. When the general entered the military (as most of us who served) he wrote the government a blank check, offering his life to protect your derriere, now safely and comfortably ensconced in a 20 thousand dollar leather chair, paid for by the general’s taxes. You repaid him for this by humiliating him in front of millions.

Second is your puerile character, lack of sophistication, and arrogance, which borders on the hubristic. This display of brattish behavior shows you to be a virago, termagant, harridan, nag, scold or shrew, unfit for your position, regardless of the support of the unwashed, uneducated masses who have made California into the laughing stock of the nation.

What I am writing, are the same thoughts countless millions of Americans have toward Congress, but who lack the energy, ability or time to convey them. Regardless of their thoughts, most realize that politicians are pretty much the same, and will vote for the one who will bring home the most bacon, even if they do consider how corrupt that person is. Lord Acton (1834 - 1902) so aptly charged, "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Unbeknownst to you and your colleagues, "Mr. Power" has had his way with all of you, and we are all the worse for it.

Finally Senator, I, too, have a title. It is "Right Wing Extremist Potential Terrorist Threat." It is not of my choosing, but was given to me by your Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. And you were offended by "ma’am"?

I agree. THere is just this culture of elitism that seems to be so ingrained in Washington that even the most honorable people cant escape it. When they are exempting themselves from having to live under the same rules that they force on the rest of us, and are involved in corruption that is not even hidden anymore, it is time to clean house and start over…and install term limits this time

I’m not surprised at Aidan still being at the top but am quite surprised at Liam being at number 3. I had no idea how popular the name was. I’m pleasantly surprised at Amelia being number 1 and am glad that Ava is on her way down :) I’m hoping for Willow to be high on the list next year. I’m surprised at names such as Gavin, Colin and Ian being on the list as I have only known middle aged men with those names. And I’ve only ever known a girl called Asher. And I don’t know any Addisons, Audreys or Averys.
As I expected all the Twilight names are on there. Isabella, Edward, Alice, Jacob, Emmett, Jasper. Esme is further on down the list also. Alice has climbed up a far bit since last year, probably with a bit of help from Alice Cullen. And Emmett has joined his brothers as a newcomer to the list shooting straight to number 54. No doubt Carlisle will be on the list soon and Renee also. And possibly even Renesmee. Although hope, for the sanity of the world, that it doesn’t even catch a glimpse of the list.
What are your opinions on the list?

Why is "The Speckled Band" such a popular story?
Arthur Conan Doyle thinks that "The Speckled Band" is the best story of Sherlock Holmes.. I don’t quite get why. x3

i read it while i was in school for english- i could not understand why either- it is not exactly the most thrilling of the holmes stories to me anyway but i believe it may have something to do with the victorians having fascination with exotic creatures with it being a snake and all it may have being considered quite scary and modernly it is because it is a book that can be called as suitable for children

Could this be Implantation or ovulation ?
OK so i am on my second round of clomid this time and I usually ovulate by cycle day 21.Which would have been the 12th of Dec for me.On cycle day 27 almost 28 ( 6dpo almost 7 dpo) I had this very sharp pinching pain on my lower right side. In my pelvic area close to my ovary.It lasted about 2 mins and i could slightly feel some pain in my back. During this pain I also had the same kind of pain on my left but not as painful.Since that night I have not had any more pain like that. I also took a opk the next day which came back neg.I have experienced implantation bleeding before but I haven’t seen any this time. Please give me some advice !!!!

If you like Procol Harum you might like listening to Robin Trower, He was the guitar player for that band. He is a lot like hendrix but in my opinion hes better. Some good songs by him are day of the eagle and too rolling stoned. I also recommend Rush, their my favorite band. Some sings you might like from them are 2112, subdivisions, limelight, closer to the heart, and spirit of the radio.

he is basically THE guy & band to go for if your looking for rock/blues, basically he is the hendrix of rock/blues.

eric burdon from the animals performed with him alot.
muddy waters,pete townshend, eric clapton, jimmy page all did recordings with him/gigs.
lennon loved his power trio band Taste who stole the isle of wright festival off Hendrix & the who.
Rolling stones wanted him in their band etc etc etc the list goes on
